It's a quick read that functions more like a blog post than a tutorial. Skip if you need to actually write the code to do this.

Who it's for
Students needing a quick, high-level overview of how AML and Postgres might connect.
Who should skip it
Anyone looking for a functional code example or a hands-on lab.
Pros
Extremely short, takes less than 15 minutes to complete.
Gives a conceptual map of how the Azure services could interact.
Cons
No real 'exercise'—it's just a text description of steps.
Doesn't provide any code or a sandbox environment to try.
The 'how-to' is purely theoretical, not practical.
I got to step 4, “Perform inference from Azure Machine Learning,” and realized there was nothing to perform. It was a block of text describing seven steps I was supposed to imagine doing in a portal I couldn't access. No sandbox, no code, just a description of clicks. This felt like reading a recipe summary instead of actually cooking. I was hoping for at least a small function or a Jupyter notebook to see the connection in action, but there was nothing to run.
I get it's an intro, but the title claims to teach how to 'use' the services. I didn't 'use' anything; I just read about a hypothetical workflow. I had to go find a YouTube video to see the Python code for making the API call from a Postgres function. This is more of an architectural diagram than a hands-on tutorial. Don't count on it for interview prep or a project.
