It’s a sales deck in disguise. Watch if you're a manager; skip if you're a builder.

Architects deciding on new GitHub tooling; teams who need a quick link to send to justify a purchase.
Essentially a product brochure, not a hands-on course.
Architects deciding on new GitHub tooling; teams who need a quick link to send to justify a purchase.
Individual developers looking for a hands-on guide to using Copilot Spaces effectively.
The 'Skills Exercise' was a five-question multiple-choice quiz. One of them was literally 'Which button do you click to create a new space?' and the options were 'New space', 'Old space', and 'Any space'. I'm not joking.
This isn't a course. It's a 30-minute interactive brochure for a feature that's still in private beta. I get that Microsoft has to market new things. But don't call this a 'module' for 'developers' and 'devops engineers'. We write code. We break things. We need to know how a tool behaves under pressure, not which button has the green checkmark next to it in a static screenshot.
Everything here is theoretical. 'Imagine getting context-aware answers.' 'Configure custom instructions.' Show me. Give me a broken monorepo with three conflicting PRs and let me use a Space to figure it out. Give me a real problem. Don't just show me UI mockups.
I burned through this on a coffee break hoping to get a jump on how to actually use this thing for a client project. Total waste of time. I learned more from a single five-minute YouTube demo from a random dev who got into the beta. This entire module could have been a blog post. If you're a manager who needs to sign off on the GitHub Enterprise bill, maybe this gives you the talking points. If you actually have to build and ship things, just wait until you get access and figure it out yourself.
