A solid one-hour product demo for running generative AI models within Azure ML. It's less about the 'how' of Transformers and more about the 'where'—as in, where to click in the Azure portal. Worth it for the lab exposure.

Who it's for
Students needing a quick, hands-on intro to running LLMs on Azure's platform.
Who should skip it
Anyone looking for deep theory on Transformers or building models from scratch.
Pros
Provides runnable code snippets for Azure ML Studio.
Good, quick overview of the Azure GenAI ecosystem.
Covers prompt flow and RAG basics.
Cons
More of a product tour than a deep-dive course.
Assumes you're already bought into the Azure ecosystem.
The 'Understand the Transformer architecture' part is very brief.
The prompt flow walkthrough was the only part that felt new. The rest is mostly running pre-written scripts in an Azure ML notebook. You get to see how to load a model from the catalog and deploy an endpoint, which is useful, but there isn't much to figure out on your own. It's a guided tour of the UI.
The section on Transformer architecture is basically a single diagram and a few paragraphs. Don't come here expecting to learn how they actually work. This path is about getting you comfortable inside Azure's environment, pointing you to the right menus for fine-tuning and evaluation. For a quick lab to add to my notes on different cloud platforms, it was fine. But it felt more like marketing for Azure's services than a real lesson.
