Who it's for
Business users curious about what the Databricks plugin for Copilot looks like.
Who should skip it
Anyone looking for hands-on practice or technical details.
Pros
Quick overview of a very new feature.
Lots of screenshots showing the UI in Teams and M365.
Free and takes less than an hour.
Cons
Zero hands-on interaction; it's a glorified product manual.
The SPARK framework for prompting feels over-engineered for this.
No actual Databricks or data access; just pictures of it working.
That whole unit on the SPARK framework—Situation, Problem, Action, Result, Kudos—was the perfect summary of this module. It's an entire lesson dedicated to memorizing a script for asking data questions. For a tool meant to simplify things, having to learn an acronym before you can even talk to it feels completely backward. It’s especially odd since there's no live environment to practice in. You just read about SPARK, look at screenshots of someone else using it, and then get quizzed on the letters.
This is just a product tour. You see the UI inside Teams and Copilot, which is helpful for about five minutes. But you don’t connect to Databricks, write a prompt, or verify any data. It’s a PowerPoint deck you click through. It's fine for a free module, I guess, but calling it training is a serious stretch.
