It's a quick, free product demo. Fine if you have 40 minutes to see what the buttons in Copilot for Excel are supposed to do, but it's not a skills-building course.

Who it's for
Business users curious about the sales pitch for Copilot in Excel.
Who should skip it
Anyone looking for hands-on Python or actual data analysis skills.
Pros
Quick overview of Copilot for Excel's features.
Free and easy to access.
Shows what Microsoft thinks is important in its AI tooling.
Cons
No real hands-on exercises; it's a product tour.
The 'Python-powered' part is just a button click, not actual coding.
Feels more like marketing material than a training module.
The “Exercise - Boost your productivity” unit isn't an exercise. You don't run the Python forecasts or use the Analyst agent. It’s just a tour of screenshots showing someone else doing it. I wanted to see how the Python integration actually worked, but it’s just a magic button. At least it was free and only took half an hour.
