A solid, high-level briefing on securing Copilot with Purview. It's more of a 'why' and 'what' course than a 'how-to' manual, which is perfect for non-technical stakeholders.

Who it's for
Product managers or team leads who need to understand the guardrails for using Copilot in their organization.
Who should skip it
Engineers or IT admins looking for step-by-step implementation guides or hands-on labs.
Pros
Clearly explains the risks Copilot introduces and the tools to manage them.
Good overview of Purview's role (sensitivity labels, DLP) without getting too technical.
Short enough to complete in an afternoon.
Cons
Very little hands-on practice; mostly conceptual.
Confusingly similar titles to other Microsoft Learn paths on the same topic.
Creating and configuring sensitivity labels was the click-moment for me. I finally understood it as drawing a 'data map' for Copilot. If we tag something as 'Internal,' Copilot knows not to blurt it out in a public-facing summary. Simple. The rest of the path is a guided tour of Purview features—audit logs, data loss prevention (DLP)—from that same perspective. It’s not about configuring a firewall; it's about setting the rules of engagement for the AI assistant.
There's almost no hands-on work. You read, you watch a short video, you answer a multiple-choice question. That’s fine for my role. I don’t need to write the DLP policies myself, but I do need to understand why our security team is asking my team to classify documents before we use the shiny new AI toy. This path gives me that context in a few hours.
