Pros
Quick overview of Microsoft Purview's AI features.
Up-to-date with recent product names.
Clear screenshots of the admin console.
Cons
No hands-on lab, it's a product tour.
Too high-level for implementation.
Heavy on Microsoft-specific product marketing.
This was basically a 50-minute tour of a dashboard. I was hoping for concrete security practices for AI-generated data or securing model endpoints. Instead, it's a walkthrough of Microsoft Purview's 'DSPM for AI' feature. Just screenshots and descriptions of what buttons to click in a product I don't use.
The content is an ad for their solution. It shows how Purview can scan for things like models in S3 or prompt data inside M365. That might be useful if your company is all-in on Microsoft and you're the admin configuring Purview. For a developer building their own stack, it's mostly irrelevant. The knowledge check at the end just tests if you remember the feature's name.
