Who it's for

Azure admins who need to lock down access, including for service principals.

Who should skip it

Anyone looking for a high-level overview of security concepts.

Pros

  • Directly into the Entra portal for hands-on exercises.
  • Covers AI agent identities, which is current.
  • Short and to the point.

Cons

  • The sandbox environment can be a bit slow to provision.
  • Assumes you already know your way around Entra ID.

This gets straight to the point. No fluff, just clicks in the Entra portal. The sandbox for the exercises worked, which is more than I can say for some other Learn modules. It’s basically a guided tour of the blades you’d be using anyway, but it forces you to actually build the policies. Good for an hour. Covers the new AI agent identity stuff too, which was the part I actually needed. I skipped the intro and the 'planning' theory.
