This isn't a course, it's a product brochure you have to click through. Read it if you need to know the names of Microsoft's security AI features, but don't expect to learn how to actually use them.

Who it's for
New administrators wanting a quick text-based overview of what Intune and Defender Copilot are supposed to do.
Who should skip it
Anyone looking for hands-on practice, deep technical details, or actual prompting skills.
Pros
Quick to complete, under an hour.
Provides high-level talking points about Microsoft's AI tools in security.
Stays within the Microsoft ecosystem, no external tools needed.
Cons
Essentially a text-based product tour with no hands-on component.
Extremely superficial; reads like marketing documentation.
The 'Knowledge Check' is trivial and doesn't test real understanding.
Labeled 'Intermediate' but feels like a beginner-level introduction.
This module was so short it was barely there. The final quiz asks if you can recognize sentences from the previous pages. I clicked through them without thinking.
This isn't really a 'course' in any meaningful sense. It's a text-based product tour for Microsoft Security Copilot inside Intune and Defender. It describes what the tools are supposed to do – summarize incidents, suggest remediation policies. The problem is, you never get to try it. No sandbox, no lab, no sample prompts to analyze. Just page after page of descriptions and screenshots.
I was hoping to get a feel for how these AI tools actually work. What does a good prompt look like? How do you interpret the AI's recommendations when they're ambiguous? The module doesn't go there. It just states that the AI can do these things. It's like reading the back of a box.
I'm not sure who the 'intermediate' label is for. If you're already an administrator, you won't learn anything new about device management that you couldn't get from a press release. If you're new, you won't learn the fundamentals. It feels like it was created for someone who needs to be able to name-drop 'Copilot' in a meeting.
