Reviewer's verdict

It’s a product tour, not a training course. You read about what Copilot can do, but you don't actually do it. Skim it for ideas, but don't expect to learn a skill.

Who it's for

Absolute beginners who have never used a chat AI for work.

Who should skip it

Anyone looking for hands-on practice or advanced prompting techniques.

Pros

  • Quick, high-level overview of what Copilot can do inside M365.
  • Uses familiar business scenarios (email, presentations, documents).
  • No coding or technical setup required.

Cons

  • No actual sandbox environment to try the prompts.
  • Content is a series of product feature tours, not a course on process optimization.
  • Knowledge checks are simplistic multiple-choice questions about the text.

Recalling button names from screenshots isn't 'process optimization'. This whole thing is just a user manual with a quiz. I came here for a framework on identifying which processes to optimize, but all I got were five feature tours for Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. It shows you the 'what' but completely skips the 'why' and 'how'. A live demo would’ve been more useful.
