A necessary, high-level overview for anyone putting multi-agent systems into production on Azure. It rightly focuses on observability and cost control, though it's more of a design guide than a hands-on lab.

Who it's for
AI engineers and architects managing multi-agent systems in Azure.
Who should skip it
Beginners or those not working with agentic AI or Azure.
Pros
Covers critical operational topics like observability and evaluation.
Focuses on practical enterprise scenarios like HITL approvals.
Introduces Microsoft Foundry for agent optimization.
Cons
More conceptual architecture than hands-on coding.
Assumes familiarity with Azure and multi-agent concepts.
The LLM-as-judge evaluation frameworks in Microsoft Foundry were the most useful part. It moves past simple accuracy metrics. The OpenTelemetry section, however, is very high-level. I was hoping for concrete instrumentation patterns for tracing agent-to-agent communication, not just a list of Azure Monitor features. It gives you the 'what' but not enough of the 'how' for a truly distributed system. A good architectural guide, though.
