Who it's for

SAP account managers or consultants needing Microsoft talking points.

Who should skip it

Engineers looking for implementation details.

Pros

  • Quick overview of the SAP/Microsoft strategic alignment.
  • Introduces relevant product names like RISE with SAP on Azure.
  • Links to other, more technical modules.

Cons

  • Zero technical depth or hands-on activity.
  • Reads like a press release or sales deck.
  • The 'Knowledge Check' is trivial.

My team got assigned this. I get it, we use SAP, we run on Azure. But this isn't training. It's a press release stretched into an hour-long slide deck. You read about the 'synergy' between Microsoft 365 and SAP SuccessFactors, then get a quiz asking what you just read. There's no code, no architecture diagrams to critique, not even a command to run.

I clicked through it in about 30 minutes while waiting for a build to finish. The whole thing is just a list of product names and partnership announcements. If you're a developer trying to connect these systems, this module won't help you write a single line of code. It just tells you that integration is possible. Great. I already knew that. The only useful part was discovering the links to other, actually technical modules at the very end.
