Reviewer's verdict

A quick product tour masquerading as a training module. It shows you where the buttons are in Azure ML's Responsible AI dashboard, but don't expect to learn the concepts behind fairness or explainability.

Who it's for

Data scientists getting a first look at the Azure ML RAI dashboard UI

Who should skip it

Learners without an active Azure subscription; anyone seeking conceptual depth

Pros

  • Provides a concrete UI-based tour of the Responsible AI dashboard.
  • Hands-on exercise uses a real notebook environment.
  • Quick to complete.

Cons

  • The exercise is mostly a copy-paste walkthrough, not a real challenge.
  • Requires an active Azure subscription and pre-configured workspace to run.
  • Minimal explanation of the 'why' behind the metrics.

Azure compute ate a chunk of the forty minutes just spinning up. After that I ran the pre-filled notebook, the Responsible AI dashboard appeared in Azure ML Studio, and I clicked around error analysis and model explanations. The UI is all there. The module never makes you interpret a chart or ask a hard question. I learned how to generate a report, not how to practice responsible AI.

For a topic this critical, a software demo isn't enough. If I hadn't already taken a proper ML ethics class, I’d have no idea what any of these charts actually meant for a real-world project.
