Who it's for
Current Microsoft 365 users trying to understand what the Copilot meeting features are.
Who should skip it
Anyone looking for a technical deep-dive or a way to build custom AI meeting tools.
Pros
Quick overview of Microsoft's vision for AI in meetings.
Introduces official terminology like 'Intelligent Recap'.
The content is up-to-date with recent product releases.
Cons
No hands-on experience; it's a product tour, not a lab.
Feels like reading marketing documentation.
The 'intermediate' tag is misleading; it's a non-technical overview.
The intended audience for this seems to be a sales team, not someone who builds or configures things. The entire module is a text walkthrough of Copilot features inside Microsoft Teams. You read about setting agendas, using the 'Facilitator' agent, and getting an 'Intelligent Recap'. It tells you what the buttons do. That’s about it.
The 'Exercise' unit was the most disappointing part. I expected a sandbox environment or at least a simulation. Instead, it’s just more text describing a scenario and telling you what you *would* click. It’s like reading the instruction manual for a microwave you don't own. There's zero real interaction, no 'doing'.
I understand it’s an overview, but labeling it 'intermediate' and listing 'Solution Architect' as a target role is just wrong. A solution architect needs to know about APIs, integration points, or governance—not which menu item generates meeting notes. This is a basic feature tour for business users. It explains the 'what' but completely ignores the 'how'. I spent 45 minutes reading marketing copy. For anyone technical, you're better off just watching a five-minute YouTube demo of the product. It’s the same information, but faster.
