It’s a harmless, free product tour for GitHub Copilot disguised as a new methodology. Skip it if you've already used any AI coding assistant.

Absolute beginners curious about what GitHub Copilot can do, marketing teams who want a new buzzword.
The term 'vibe coding' feels like marketing fluff for standard prompt engineering.
Absolute beginners curious about what GitHub Copilot can do, marketing teams who want a new buzzword.
Developers who already use Copilot or other AI assistants daily.
So now they're calling it 'vibe coding'. I see. You give the AI a vague idea, it generates code, you refine it. That’s just… what I do with Copilot every day, without the buzzword. The entire module is basically a PowerPoint deck explaining this process. The one hands-on 'exercise' has you copy-pasting prompts into Copilot to build a basic Python app. It works, the code runs.
But if you’ve spent ten minutes with any AI assistant, you've already done this. This isn't a new methodology. It’s just branding for a workflow that emerged on its own. I suppose it’s useful if your boss just heard the term and you need to know what they're talking about. For anyone else who actually writes code, just keep writing code. You're already 'vibe coding' without the certificate.
