Who it's for
Students looking for a quick glossary of terms before tackling a real project.
Who should skip it
Anyone looking for code examples or hands-on practice.
Pros
Extremely short and can be completed quickly.
Introduces basic terms like form extraction and vision extraction.
Points to other related Foundry modules.
Cons
No practical exercises; the 'exercise' is just a multiple-choice quiz.
Feels more like a product page than a lesson.
Content is too high-level to be useful on its own.
Hands-on here was a multiple-choice quiz. No code, no sandbox, not even a fake UI to click through. It asks which Foundry service does X after you just read a paragraph defining it. This felt less like a lab and more like a check to see if I was paying attention to the one-pager I just scrolled through. The whole thing is over in less time than it takes to make coffee.
It introduces 'vision extraction' and 'form extraction' as concepts, but only at a surface level. This is clearly part of a bigger marketing push for a product called 'Foundry', since every related module they link to is about it. I guess it gives me a few keywords to Google for *real* tutorials. This is a brochure, not a course.
