A decent one-hour primer for managers to understand the security components their engineers are talking about, but it won't teach you how to build anything yourself.

Who it's for
Product managers or team leads needing a high-level security overview for Azure AI projects.
Who should skip it
Engineers looking for hands-on configuration guides or deep technical details.
Pros
Quick overview of Azure's security posture for AI.
Introduces key components like Microsoft Foundry and Azure OpenAI security.
Free and easy to access.
Cons
Too high-level, lacks concrete 'how-to' steps.
The 'exercise' is just a multiple-choice quiz.
Heavy on Azure-specific product names, making it hard to extract general principles.
The “Configure Secure AI Infrastructure” exercise was just a multiple-choice quiz. No sandbox, no actual configuring. I was hoping for a simple diagram showing what plugs into where, but instead it's a tour of Azure product names: Foundry, Container Registry, a dozen security features. It's like reading a car brochure that explains why it's safe without ever showing you the engine.
As a PM, I just needed the mental model. What are the big security buckets I need to account for when we're planning an AI feature? I got about half of that. The rest was a word salad of SKUs and service tiers. It's fine for a free hour-long module. At least now when an engineer mentions 'managed identities' or 'private endpoints', I have a vague idea of what they're trying to protect.
