This is a quick vocabulary lesson, not a practical tutorial. Use it to understand what your manager is talking about, but you won't be building any agents after this.

Who it's for
Absolute beginners who want a quick, high-level overview of Azure's new agent tools.
Who should skip it
Anyone looking for code, a sandbox environment, or practical implementation details.
Pros
Very fast way to learn the terminology for Microsoft's agent framework.
Clear, concise explanations of what agents are and what problems they solve.
Up-to-date with Azure's latest product names.
Cons
No hands-on exercise; the 'exercise' is just a multiple-choice question.
Feels like a product brochure or a single chapter from a larger course.
Doesn't actually show you how to build or connect anything.
The 'Foundry' name seems to be a placeholder, which is confusing.
The final unit is an 'Exercise' where you just pick a definition from a dropdown menu. I finished the whole thing in about 35 minutes while waiting for a build to finish. It’s a useful glossary for Azure's new agent-related names, and I guess now I know what 'Foundry' is supposed to be, even if it feels like a codename that hasn't been updated yet.
There's no sandbox, no code, no 'try this yourself' moment. It explains what an agent is, shows a diagram of how it connects to models and tools, and then quizzes you. It feels like the intro chapter ripped out of a much longer, more useful course. It does a fine job of explaining the concepts, but don't come here expecting to learn how to *do* anything. It's more of a marketing one-pager than a technical primer.
