Who it's for
Anyone needing a quick conceptual overview of Foundry IQ for work.
Who should skip it
Learners looking for hands-on practice or code examples.
Pros
Provides a high-level summary of Foundry IQ's purpose.
Very short, can be completed in under an hour.
Explains the concepts of knowledge bases and agents clearly.
Cons
No hands-on exercise or sandbox environment.
The 'exercise' is just reading a scenario.
Feels more like marketing documentation than a training module.
Knowledge base setup is the closest I got to actually using Foundry IQ. The so-called 'exercise' that follows is just reading a scenario about a fictional company. No sandbox, no code, nothing to actually *do*. It's just a text walkthrough of how someone else would use the tool. The rest of the module follows this pattern. I was hoping for a mini-lab to at least connect a sample document to an agent, even in a guided way. Instead, it feels like I just read a few pages of the product's marketing site. It's a quick read, sure, and it does introduce the core vocabulary like 'knowledge bases' and 'agents'. But it's not a 'get started' in any practical sense. It’s more of a ‘read about it’ module.
