This is a product tour, not a technical course. It's a quick way to learn the marketing names for Fabric's parts, but you won't learn how to build anything.

Who it's for
Data professionals new to the Microsoft ecosystem who need a high-level map of Fabric's components.
Who should skip it
Developers looking for hands-on coding, API deep dives, or practical integration examples.
Pros
Provides a comprehensive overview of all Fabric components.
Clear, structured content typical of Microsoft Learn.
Up-to-date with the latest product branding and features.
Cons
Extremely superficial; a 'click-through' tour rather than a hands-on course.
No real coding or problem-solving required.
Feels like an extended marketing presentation for a new product.
This thing is a seven-hour guided tour of a UI. Click here, see this screen. Click there, see that one. I got through the whole thing in an afternoon, mostly on autopilot. The 'Data Science' module just shows you where the notebook button is. Zero coding, zero setup, zero problems to solve. It’s like reading the back of the box.
I get it, they need a brochure to explain what Fabric is supposed to be. But they called it a 'Get Started' path. I expected to *get started*. Instead, I learned a dozen new marketing terms for things that already exist. Now I know what a Lakehouse and a Warehouse are in the Fabric world. I guess that's something. But I still have no idea how to actually connect my own data or build an application on it. I just know what all the menu items are called.
