It’s a functional, if uninspired, 30-minute demo of Copilot's basic documentation features. You could probably learn the same by just typing `/doc` into the chat window and seeing what happens.

Who it's for
Developers who just want to know what the `/doc` and `/explain` commands do in Copilot Chat.
Who should skip it
Anyone looking for advanced prompting techniques or a real-world project.
Pros
Quick tour of the basic documentation commands.
The exercise uses a real, if simple, JavaScript project.
Introduces the `/doc-inline` keyword, which is genuinely useful.
Cons
Feels more like a product manual page than a training module.
The 'exercise' is just running predefined prompts.
No discussion of when Copilot's output is wrong or needs heavy editing.
It’s hard to call this training. You get a small JavaScript project and a list of prompts to paste into Copilot Chat. Run `/explain`, see what it spits out. Run `/doc`, watch it write a README. And that’s it. It’s a decent demo of the commands, I guess. The `/doc-inline` keyword was new to me, and I'll probably use it to knock out some boilerplate JSDoc comments. But there's no struggle here. The prompts are given to you, the code is simple, and the output is treated as gospel. There's zero guidance on what to do when Copilot hallucinates an explanation for code it doesn't understand, which happens constantly in real work. This is just a supervised tour of the happy path. You’ll be done in 30 minutes, an hour if you get coffee.
