Reviewer's verdict

A useful 40-minute product tour of how connector actions work in Copilot Studio. It's a guided click-through, not a course for building anything robust.

Who it's for

Makers looking for a quick, official intro to Copilot Studio connectors.

Who should skip it

Anyone needing a real project or troubleshooting help.

Pros

  • Quick walkthrough of the UI.
  • Clear screenshots for each step.
  • Covers the basic concept of a connector action.

Cons

  • Exercise is just following a fixed recipe.
  • Doesn't explain what to do when things break.
  • Too short to build any real understanding.

The MSN Weather connector exercise was just clicking where the red boxes in the screenshots told me to. Zero thinking involved. I did it, but if the API failed or I needed a non-standard connector, I'd have no idea what to do. It’s a UI tour that shows what's possible, not a real lesson that teaches you how to build it yourself. I get the concept, but that’s about it.
