This is a product tour, not a technical deep dive. It shows a business user what's possible by clicking through menus in the D365 ecosystem. Developers will find nothing to build here.

Functional consultants or business users inside a Dynamics 365 org.
Who should skip it
Developers looking for code, APIs, or integration patterns.
Pros
Quick overview of the product ecosystem.
Shows how Power Platform connects to D365 Sales.
Decent map of what exists for non-technical roles.
Cons
Zero code, zero APIs, zero technical implementation.
Essentially a guided tour of UI features and menus.
Sandbox environment is just for clicking, not building.
That module, “Use Microsoft 365 services with model-driven apps,” hooked me. I figured I'd finally see an API or at least a connection string. Something to actually build with. But no. The most technical part was being told where the 'Export to Excel' and 'Share' buttons are. The whole thing felt like watching a sales demo in slow motion.
There's no code. There's no architecture. You don't build a Power App; you read about building a Power App. You don't connect to Dataverse; you look at a diagram of Dataverse. For a developer, this is a complete waste of time. I finished it just to clear the tab from my browser.
