Reviewer's verdict

This isn't a course on negotiation. It's a glossary of Microsoft's AI features for sales. Skip it unless your manager told you to learn what the buttons in Dynamics are called.

Who it's for

New hires at a company already committed to Dynamics 365 Sales

Who should skip it

Anyone looking for general negotiation skills or a critical look at AI tools

Pros

  • Quick overview of what Microsoft's AI sales tools are called
  • Connects different Copilot features to the negotiation stage
  • Up-to-date with recent product naming

Cons

  • Purely a product tour, not a skills course
  • No hands-on labs or real-world scenarios
  • Feels like reading a feature list for six different products
  • No mention of what happens when the AI gives bad advice

The 'Sales Research Agent' section is a perfect summary of this whole module. It tells you a thing exists, what Microsoft calls it, and that it helps with research. Then it moves on. The next unit does the same for the 'Sales Close Agent,' then for 'Microsoft 365 Copilot,' and on and on. It's a tour of a feature list, not a lesson in negotiation.

My team supports our sales org, so I need to understand what tools could actually help them. I was hoping for a mental model of the workflow. When should a seller trust an AI suggestion on pricing? How do you handle an objection the AI clearly misunderstood? What's the process for using these tools without sounding like a robot reading a script? This module doesn't touch any of that. It just presents a series of AI agents as infallible solutions. There's zero discussion of the guardrails, the potential for bad suggestions, or how a real human seller should intervene when the tech gets it wrong.

This is marketing material reformatted into a 'learning' module. You just click through slides that explain what Copilot for Sales does, what the product catalog is for, and how another AI can help draft an email. It’s all descriptive. There's no 'how,' no 'why,' and certainly no 'what if.' If you need to know the official name for every AI button inside Dynamics 365, this will get you there. If you want to learn how to negotiate, look elsewhere.
