Reviewer's verdict

A quick, skippable marketing tour. If you just need to know the difference between Copilot and Copilot Studio for a class project, read the summary. Don't expect to learn how to build anything.

Who it's for

Newcomers looking for an official overview of Microsoft's Copilot product tiers.

Who should skip it

Developers or anyone needing to actually build or use an agent.

Pros

  • Quick official overview of the M365 Copilot ecosystem.
  • Clarifies licensing and product names (Copilot vs. Copilot Studio).
  • Recent content, reflects current product lineup.

Cons

  • Purely a text-and-screenshot tour, no hands-on.
  • Reads like marketing material or internal sales training.
  • The 'Knowledge Check' is just a multiple-choice quiz on the marketing points.

The licensing model slide was the only part that wasn't just a long advertisement. Six units of text, screenshots, and embedded videos about what Copilot is. I spent maybe 30 minutes clicking through it, hunting for a sandbox link or a lab, but there isn't one. The whole thing is just a high-level product brief.

The 'real-world use cases' are generic one-liners like 'a marketing team can use it to create campaign materials.' The knowledge check at the end just asks if you remember the product names. It's basically Microsoft explaining its own org chart to you. You learn which product does what, but not how to do anything with them.
