This is a product tour for Azure's governance tooling, not a course on building secure or compliant AI systems. Skip it unless your boss tells you to learn Microsoft Foundry.

Who it's for
Azure admins who are being forced to adopt Microsoft Foundry for AI governance.
Who should skip it
Developers or small teams not locked into the Azure enterprise ecosystem.
Pros
Hands-on exercise is straightforward.
A quick way to see what 'governance' means in the Azure AI context.
Covers the key buzzwords: cost management, compliance, responsible AI.
Cons
Feels more like a product manual for Foundry than a skills-building course.
The 'governance' concepts are very high-level and abstract.
Not useful outside of a large enterprise using Azure and Foundry.
The hands-on part is just a product tour. You click through the Azure portal, configure a policy in Microsoft Foundry, and that's it. It shows you where the buttons are. It doesn't explain *why* you'd pick one policy over another, or how this actually stops a model from going rogue and burning through the entire budget.
I get that this is for enterprise admins ticking compliance boxes. But for a builder, it's just noise. None of this helps me ship a better product; it's all about adding guardrails after the fact. If you aren't already deep in the Azure enterprise world or being forced to use Foundry, this isn't worth the two hours. It's a manual for a tool I'll never use. I spent more time just trying to figure out what 'Foundry' was than I did on the actual exercise.
