Reviewer's verdict

A glorified product tour. It's a quick way to see what Microsoft *wants* you to think Copilot can do, but you won't learn how to build or do anything.

Who it's for

Absolute beginners wanting to see screenshots of Microsoft 365 Copilot in action.

Who should skip it

Anyone looking for hands-on practice or technical details.

Pros

  • Quick overview of what prebuilt agents are supposed to do.
  • Doesn't require an active Microsoft 365 Copilot subscription to view.
  • Up-to-date with recent product names.

Cons

  • Zero interaction; it's a slide deck you click through.
  • No sandbox or environment to try anything.
  • Feels more like marketing material than a training module.

One quiz question asks, 'Which button do you press to summarize the meeting?' while the button is literally circled in the accompanying screenshot. That's the level we're at. I finished this in maybe 45 minutes while watching another lecture. It's not a course so much as an extended PowerPoint deck someone turned into a web page. You click through slides explaining what Copilot can do in Teams or Outlook, with lots of pictures and callout boxes. There's no sandbox, no trial, no way to actually *use* the tools being described. I get that giving everyone a Copilot license for a one-hour path isn't feasible, but there isn't even a simulation. It's just a product tour, plain and simple.
