A brief product demo disguised as a training module. It shows you what's possible if you have a license, but doesn't teach you the underlying skill of how to prompt effectively.

Who it's for
Absolute beginners who have a company M365 Copilot account and need to see what the buttons do.
Who should skip it
Students without access to a paid Copilot instance; anyone looking to learn prompting fundamentals.
Pros
Quick tour of how Copilot is integrated into M365 apps.
Shows specific use cases for IT project planning.
Doesn't require any prior technical knowledge.
Cons
The exercises are just copy-pasting prompts.
Doesn't explain *why* a prompt works or how to adapt it.
Useless without access to a live, paid Copilot environment.
The 'Transform IT adoption exercise' is just copying a canned prompt into Viva Engage. And the whole module is like that. You get a pre-written block of text, you paste it into Teams or Whiteboard, and click 'next.' No real 'exercise' happening here. It's a guided tour of a product I don't have access to, showing what it *could* do if my university paid for it.
Felt like watching someone else play a video game. You see the outcome but don't learn the controls. I didn't walk away knowing how to write a better prompt, just that Copilot can make a PowerPoint slide if you ask it to. This isn't really training; it's a sales deck. At least it was quick.
