This is a product tour, not a course. It shows you the buttons to push for the Voice Live Agent SDK but doesn't teach you how to design or architect a voice agent. Use it as a quickstart guide if your team is already committed to Foundry.

Who it's for
Developers who need a quick, official walkthrough of the Voice Live Agent SDK within the Foundry ecosystem.
Who should skip it
Anyone looking for a conceptual understanding of voice agents or a robust, production-ready example.
Pros
Up-to-date with the June 2026 release.
Provides a contained sandbox environment, avoiding local setup.
Directly introduces the relevant API and SDK calls.
Cons
The exercise is a copy-paste-run task, not a development challenge.
Explains 'what' but not 'why' or 'how' it compares to other voice solutions.
Feels more like API documentation than a training module.
The 'Develop Agent' exercise was just reading a quickstart guide. You copy-paste pre-written code into the sandbox, run it, and it works. No problem-solving, no debugging, no actual development. It just confirms the SDK exists and that the function calls look like the documentation says they do.
I appreciate that the material reflects the June 2026 update, a rare plus for this kind of corporate training. But the module is a vacuum. It never explains the architectural choices behind the Voice Live Agent or how it differs from, say, a standard Azure Bot Service integration with Speech. It just presents the API as a given. For a one-hour module labeled 'intermediate,' I expected at least a paragraph on design trade-offs. It's just a manual in slide form.
