A useful 90-minute product tour of Microsoft Foundry's agent capabilities, but don't expect it to teach you how to design or build complex agents from scratch.

Who it's for
Developers wanting a quick, high-level tour of the Foundry agent service.
Who should skip it
Anyone looking for deep technical implementation or agent theory.
Pros
Provides a fast overview of a new Azure service.
Covers both portal and VS Code workflows.
Fresh content, updated recently.
Cons
Very high-level, feels more like a product tour than a technical tutorial.
Exercises are mostly 'click this, copy that', not problem-solving.
Skims over the 'why' behind agent design choices.
Step 4: 'copy this code block.' Step 5: 'paste it here.' The whole module felt like that. It's a fine introduction to the Foundry UI, but there’s no theory. It shows the what, not the why or how. I'm still not sure how this connects to the Semantic Kernel agent abstractions from last year. This feels like a separate, simpler path that avoids detail. Too high-level for production work.
