A skimmable glossary of Microsoft's responsible AI terms. It's not a course for building anything, just a list of what to think about.

Who it's for
Architects needing a quick list of Microsoft's AI security/governance terms.
Who should skip it
Anyone looking for code, examples, or a tutorial on *how* to implement these controls.
Pros
Covers a wide range of governance topics.
Good, skimmable list of Microsoft product names in the AI stack.
Up-to-date as of mid-2026.
Cons
Purely a slide deck in text form.
No exercises, labs, or concrete implementation details.
The 'Design' in the title is misleading; it's a list of concepts, not a design guide.
The units on 'Design Governance Agents' and 'Design Model Security' were just walls of text. I kept clicking, hoping for a diagram, a code snippet, maybe a link to a GitHub repo with an example policy file. Nothing. It’s a vocabulary list. You read about prompt manipulation, then click next. You read about data residency, then click next. No practice, no sandbox, not even a multiple-choice quiz that makes you think.
It feels like reading the table of contents for a much better, more detailed course that doesn't exist yet. It introduces terms like 'AI red teaming' and 'grounding data access' but never shows what they look like in practice. I finished in about 45 minutes, mostly skimming, and feel like I just read a very long marketing page for Microsoft Purview and Entra ID. It's a map of the territory but doesn't teach you how to walk.
