A useful, high-level orientation for non-technical stakeholders to understand what's possible within the Dynamics 365 ecosystem, but it's just a map, not the journey.

Who it's for
New business analysts or PMs needing a quick map of the Dynamics 365 ecosystem.
Who should skip it
Developers or anyone looking for hands-on configuration or implementation details.
Pros
Provides a clear, high-level map of how different Microsoft products connect.
Good overview of reporting and integration options without getting lost in technical details.
The Copilot and AI sections are current and business-focused.
Cons
Purely descriptive; you don't build or configure anything.
The 'Knowledge Check' quizzes are very basic and test rote memorization.
Feels more like a sales deck than a training module at times.
My team got a mandate to 'better integrate' with the sales org's Dynamics instance. Before sitting through another meeting full of acronyms I don't understand, I wanted a map. This module is exactly that: a map. It's not a workshop, it's a guided tour of the neighborhood.
It does a decent job explaining where Power Platform fits in, how you get data out for reports, and where Outlook and Teams can plug in. For me, the most useful part was just seeing all the components laid out. Before this, terms like 'Power Automate' and 'Dataverse' were just buzzwords the IT team used. Now I have a mental model for what they are supposed to do, even if I couldn't build a flow myself.
The AI sections on Copilot and autonomous agents felt a bit like a sales pitch, but it was a *useful* sales pitch. It helped me frame some questions for our next sync: 'Can we use Copilot to summarize customer history before a call?' is a much better question than 'So... what about that AI thing?'
There's no 'doing' here. You read, you click next, you take a simple quiz. It's a glorified PowerPoint deck. But as a PM, that's sometimes all you need to get your bearings before you have to talk to the people who actually do the work. It saved me from looking completely lost.
