A brief but shallow product catalog. Useful only if you're already in the Dynamics ecosystem and need a quick feature list; otherwise, it's just marketing slides without context.

Who it's for

Who should skip it
Anyone trying to learn sales principles or evaluating CRMs from the outside.
Pros
Provides a quick, high-level map of where different account management features live.
Up-to-date with recent Copilot and 'Customer Insights' rebranding.
Minimal time commitment.
Cons
No hands-on component; it's a product tour, not training.
Doesn't explain the 'why' behind features, just lists what they are.
Overloaded with marketing terms and product names that blur together.
This one's a product catalog, not a course. The whole thing is a blur of proper nouns: Customer Insights – Data, Unified Customer Profiles, Copilot in Sales, Sales Research Agent. I had to take notes just to keep the product names straight. By the end, I felt like I'd just sat through a PowerPoint where every bullet point was another trademarked feature name.
My job is to connect what engineering builds with what the sales team actually needs. I was hoping for a model, a 'here’s how a good account manager thinks, and here’s how our tools support that process.' Instead, I got a feature list. The module will tell you that Dynamics has a 'churn risk prediction' feature, but it won't give you any mental model for what drives churn or how a manager should act on that prediction. It’s all 'what' and no 'why' or 'how'.
There's a page on Copilot generating account summaries. Okay, great. How does that change a sales rep's morning? Does it save them ten minutes or an hour? Does the summary include the stuff they actually care about, like the last support ticket or the client's kid's name? The module doesn't engage with the job itself. It just lists capabilities. I finished it in under an hour and my main takeaway was a list of Microsoft product names.
