Who it's for
Students needing a quick, practical guide to Azure Storage security layers.
Who should skip it
Learners without any Azure portal experience or those needing hands-on labs.
Pros
Short, dense, and covers the essential network rules.
Clear explanation of when to use private endpoints vs. service endpoints.
Up-to-date content.
Cons
Text-only, no sandbox or interactive exercises.
Assumes you already know your way around the Azure portal.
The knowledge check is very simple.
Private endpoints finally clicked for me. I was trying to follow an older Pluralsight video and couldn't find the same blades in the Azure portal. This module's screenshots are recent, so the UI actually matched what I was seeing.
The part on resource instance rules was exactly what I needed. I didn't realize you could grant access to a specific Azure AI service without opening up the whole VNet. The distinction between private endpoints and service endpoints also became much clearer; the diagrams were solid.
There's no sandbox, which is a drag. It’s just read, click next, and take a multiple-choice quiz. But for a quick knowledge gap fill, it worked. It pointed me to the longer learning path, which I'll probably tackle next.
