This is a product marketing brochure disguised as a learning module. Useful for a 5-minute overview of Microsoft's agent ecosystem, but offers zero practical guidance for building anything.

Who it's for
PMs or managers needing a quick map of Microsoft's AI agent offerings.
Who should skip it
Developers or anyone looking for code, tutorials, or deep technical comparisons.
Pros
Provides a high-level overview of different Microsoft tools for building agents.
Distinguishes between Copilot Studio, Azure services, and various SDKs.
Very quick to complete.
Cons
No hands-on components or code examples.
Feels more like a product catalog than a technical guide.
The 'decision criteria' are too abstract to be actionable for a student project.
The 'Analyze Decision Criteria' section was just a table comparing cost and complexity with vague high/medium/low labels. As a student trying to decide what to learn for a project, it's useless. I don't have a 'high' complexity budget—I have zero budget. The whole thing is just a set of slides. I got through it in under 20 minutes, mostly clicking 'Continue'.
The content is basically a map of product names: Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365 Agents SDK, Azure AI Studio... it's a blur of marketing. There's no code, no sandbox, not even a link to a real tutorial. You just read about what each product supposedly does. I was hoping for a simple flowchart like 'If you want to do X, use Y,' but this felt more like being cornered by a sales rep at a conference. It points to a lot of doors but gives you keys to none of them.
