It’s a guided tour, not a workshop. Fine for a quick look at what 'agents' mean in the Microsoft ecosystem, but offers zero practical skill-building.

Who it's for
Absolute beginners wanting a quick, high-level overview of AI agent concepts in a sales context.
Who should skip it
Anyone looking for hands-on practice, technical details, or prompt engineering skills.
Pros
Extremely short and easy to complete.
Introduces the concept of AI agents for business tasks.
Uses clear, non-technical language.
Cons
No hands-on practice; it's a read-only module.
Prompts are provided as screenshots, not editable text.
Feels more like a product feature page than a training module.
That final quiz question asking which agent helps with stalled deals was a bit of a joke. The answer was obvious because the prompt was literally trapped inside a JPEG screenshot just a few pages earlier. I couldn't copy it, couldn't run it myself, and couldn't tweak it. This isn't a lesson; it's just an advertisement for a feature.
This pattern repeats for the entire module. You read about a 'researcher agent' or an 'objection handler agent,' but all you do is look at static images of Copilot Chat doing things. The actual learning content is just a few paragraphs of text explaining what you're seeing in the picture. The whole thing feels like a PowerPoint deck someone converted into a webpage. I clicked through the finance and marketing versions of these 'agent skills' modules, and they are identical in structure: a concept, a screenshot, a short paragraph, repeat.
There's no sandbox. No simulated environment. Nothing. The knowledge check just asks you to recall which screenshot corresponded to which task. If you’ve ever used ChatGPT to summarize a document, you’ve already done more hands-on work than what’s offered here. It’s a shame because the idea of specialized agents for sales tasks is interesting, but this module does nothing to teach you how to build or even effectively use them. It just shows you that they exist, assuming you have the right Microsoft 365 license. The ‘Build and manage an agent’ module seems like the next logical step, but it’s a much bigger time commitment, and I'm hesitant after this experience.
