This module gives a formal name and a YAML file to what experienced devs often do in a text file. It's a useful process template if your team needs one, but it won't revolutionize how you build things.

Best for
Developers already using GitHub Copilot who want a structured way to draft specs before coding.
Watch for
The methodology feels a bit rigid and documentation-heavy for a small team.

Who it's for
Developers already using GitHub Copilot who want a structured way to draft specs before coding.
Who should skip it
Beginners or teams not bought into the 'spec as code' philosophy.
Pros
Provides a concrete YAML-based structure for spec-driven development.
Hands-on exercises use a realistic 'brownfield' project scenario.
Directly integrates with VS Code and GitHub Copilot.
Cons
The methodology feels a bit rigid and documentation-heavy for a small team.
More of a process tutorial than a coding skill builder.
Assumes you're already paying for and using Copilot.
The whole 'Constitution file' idea nearly lost me. Felt like process for process's sake. But generating implementation tasks from a `.spec.md` file is a decent trick. I can see using a stripped-down version of this. It's a workflow, not a magic tool. The real work of thinking through the spec is still on you. Good for standardizing how a team talks to Copilot, I guess.
