It’s a visual product catalog, not a course. Use it to quickly understand where the Security Copilot buttons will appear across Microsoft's suite, but don't expect to learn how to solve problems with it.

Who it's for
PMs or business leads needing a quick map of where Security Copilot shows up in the Microsoft ecosystem.
Who should skip it
Anyone looking for hands-on practice, technical details, or how to actually use it day-to-day.
Pros
Quick overview of where the AI assistant lives.
Good for visualizing the product surface area.
Clear screenshots of the UI in different contexts.
Cons
Purely descriptive; no hands-on labs or simulations.
Feels like reading a sales brochure or product documentation.
Doesn't explain the 'why' or the business impact, just the 'where'.
The Defender section shows a screenshot of Copilot summarizing an incident. Then the Purview section shows another screenshot of Copilot summarizing an alert. The Entra section shows... another screenshot. I get it. It’s a button that lives inside other products. What I didn’t get was what any of this *means* for my team's workflow. Why would a security analyst click this instead of doing their usual thing? What problem does it solve that they can't solve now? The entire module is a tour of UI locations. It tells you 'what' and 'where,' but completely skips the 'so what?'. It feels like I just read the appendix of an investor deck. I know where the feature is embedded now, but I'm no closer to understanding its value or how I'd build a business case for it.
