Reviewer's verdict

This is a text-based introduction to Responsible AI principles, not a technical project. It's okay as a vocabulary lesson but fails to deliver any hands-on experience.

Who it's for

Educators or non-technical business users needing a high-level overview of RAI concepts.

Who should skip it

Developers or anyone looking for technical implementation details.

Pros

  • Well-structured text content
  • Introduces key RAI vocabulary (fairness, transparency, etc.)
  • Easy to complete in one sitting

Cons

  • No hands-on coding or labs, despite the 'guided project' title
  • Overly generic case studies
  • Knowledge check is a simple multiple-choice quiz

The title 'Guided project' is just wrong. This is a text module. You read some case studies about a fictional school district and then answer a few multiple-choice questions on what a 'fair' or 'accountable' system looks like. There's no code, no dataset, no Azure service to provision. I kept waiting for the part where I'd actually build or evaluate something, but it never came.

The content is a decent, if very high-level, primer on RAI principles. If you're a teacher who's never heard of these concepts, it's a passable 90-minute read. But calling it a project sets the wrong expectation. As a student trying to build a portfolio, this adds zero value. I'm just clicking through slides to get a checkmark.
