It's a free 30-minute product brochure for Microsoft's security suite, disguised as a learning module. Useful for a quick vocabulary refresh, but don't expect to learn any actual skills.

A friend in a SOC role mentioned threat hunting, so I came here for a quick primer. This module mostly just defines what a SOC is and what the different job titles are. You learn what a Threat Hunter does by reading a one-sentence job description. Then it pivots to listing Microsoft's security products. It's a high-level overview, basically a marketing doc.
There's no lab, no simulation, not even a screenshot of an incident dashboard. You just read. It's free, and it only took half an hour, so I can't be too mad. But I was hoping for something more than a glossary. I wanted to see what threat hunting *looks* like, even a simplified version. Instead, I learned that a Threat Hunter hunts threats. The nearby module on Security Copilot looks like it might have more substance, so I'll try that next.
