This isn't a course, it's a product-aware pamphlet. Skim it for keywords if you have 20 minutes, but don't expect it to teach you how to start a career.

No hands-on practice; the 'lab' is a multiple-choice quiz.
Career advice is generic and lacks depth.
The 'SOC Decision Lab' was a multiple-choice quiz. It asked me to pick the right 'best practice' from a list I had just read on the previous page. That’s pretty much the entire experience here. This module is a high-level table of contents for what a SOC is, peppered with mentions of Microsoft Sentinel and Security Copilot. It feels like an advertisement for other, longer Microsoft Learn paths.
The career advice section just lists job titles like 'Threat Hunter' and 'SOC Analyst' with one-sentence descriptions. It doesn't give any real signal on what to learn first, what a hiring manager actually looks for, or how to break in without prior experience. It's a 20-minute read that points you to other things to read. I guess it confirms that these jobs exist, but that's about it.
