It's a quick, free overview of the admin-level controls for GitHub Copilot. Worth a read for managers, but developers looking for practical customization tips can skip it.

Who it's for
Team leads or IT managers needing a quick overview of Copilot plans and policies
Who should skip it
Individual developers looking to improve their own Copilot usage
Pros
Quickly clarifies the differences between Copilot Business and Enterprise plans
Provides direct links to documentation for content exclusion and telemetry settings
Updated recently
Cons
No hands-on exercises or sandboxed environment to test settings
Essentially a text-based version of the official pricing and policy pages
Too high-level for a developer who already uses Copilot daily
The 'Managing content exclusions' section just linked me to the docs. I was hoping for a sandbox or at least some simulated YAML files to see how it works in a repo. Instead, it's just a text summary of the features you see on the pricing page. It does a decent job of laying out the differences between the Business and Enterprise tiers—that's the main takeaway.
There's a page on troubleshooting common issues. Most of it is 'check your network' or 're-authenticate.' Nothing a developer hasn't already tried. I was in and out in about 20 minutes. It felt less like training and more like a sales enablement deck for a manager who has to decide which plan to buy. If that's you, fine. If you're a dev trying to fine-tune your own Copilot, you're not going to find much here.
