Reviewer's verdict

It's a product brief, not a technical course. It shows you which buttons exist in the D365 admin panel, but you will not implement anything.

Who it's for

Functional consultants or admins who need to pass a certification exam.

Who should skip it

Developers or anyone looking to build or integrate a system.

Pros

  • Covers the official terminology for queues, routing, and Copilot Studio integration.
  • A quick way to see the product's feature list from an admin's point of view.
  • The content is up-to-date with the latest Dynamics 365 Contact Center branding.

Cons

  • Zero hands-on building; it's a feature tour, not an implementation guide.
  • Doesn't provide a trial environment or sandbox to actually try configuring anything.
  • Extremely high-level, feels like reading a glorified help document.
  • No code, no APIs, no real integration patterns discussed.

The title is 'Implement an AI-powered contact center'. I saw a lot of screenshots of admin panels. I did not implement a thing.

This isn't a course for builders. It's a slideshow. You read text, you look at a static image of a UI, then you answer a multiple-choice question about the text you just read. There is no sandbox, no trial environment, no API to call. You can't get your hands dirty and break something. The entire path is just a tour of menu options: this is where you configure queues, this is the screen for routing rules. Thanks, I could have found that in the product docs.

The 'AI-powered' part is mostly pointing out where the Copilot Studio integration hooks in. Again, it just shows you the button. It doesn't walk you through building a bot, connecting data sources, or handling a non-trivial conversation flow. It just says 'and here you would configure your AI agent'. It feels like one long sales deck for a product I was already trying to learn how to use.

I get that this might be for functional consultants who need to memorize terms for a certification exam. But the title is misleading. If you're a developer trying to figure out how to actually integrate with this system, or automate it, or even just understand its architecture, this is a waste of time. It's a tour of a house you're not allowed to enter.
