Reviewer's verdict

A fast, high-level overview of AI agent security concepts on Windows, but it's more of a vocabulary list for managers than a guide for builders.

Who it's for

Technology managers or business leads needing a high-level security overview for AI on Windows.

Who should skip it

Developers or security engineers looking for implementation details or code.

Pros

  • Very quick read, covers a lot of security concepts at a high level.
  • Clear structure and terminology for a non-technical audience.
  • Introduces important topics like agent identity and containment.

Cons

  • No hands-on component or technical depth.
  • Feels like a glossary of terms rather than a practical guide.
  • Too high-level to be actionable for anyone building or securing agents.

The 'Agent Identity Governance' section lays out the problem well: how do you give an AI agent credentials without handing over the keys to everything? But after a few paragraphs defining least privilege and managed identities, it just stops. There's no demo, no PowerShell snippet, not even a screenshot of where in Azure or Windows you'd configure this. It felt like reading the table of contents for a much better, more technical course that doesn't exist yet.

I get that it’s a short module, but I was hoping for at least one concrete example. Everything is described in abstract terms like 'containment' and 'monitoring'. I finished it in under half an hour and I'm not sure I can do anything with this information. It’s just a good list of things I should probably go learn about somewhere else.
