This is a developer-to-developer recipe, not a strategic or conceptual guide. As a PM, I found it impenetrable without an engineer's help. It answers 'how' but never 'why' or 'what if'.

Best for
Developers who need a quick, hands-on recipe for connecting Copilot to a specific API.
Watch for
Extremely light on concepts; it's a 'follow the recipe' tutorial, not a course.

Who it's for
Developers who need a quick, hands-on recipe for connecting Copilot to a specific API.
Who should skip it
Product managers or business leaders trying to understand the 'why' behind agents.
Pros
Provides a concrete, step-by-step guide for a specific task.
Hands-on: you actually build something instead of just reading slides.
Uses current tools like Teams Toolkit and VS Code.
Cons
Extremely light on concepts; it's a 'follow the recipe' tutorial, not a course.
Assumes deep developer context, from API specs to local server setup.
The 'challenge' is just following instructions; very little room for creative problem-solving.
The instruction to 'Create an OpenAPI document' is where it all fell apart for me. I get what an API contract is, conceptually. But this module isn't teaching concepts. It's a list of command-line instructions and code snippets to paste. There's no bridge for someone in my role, who needs to grasp the mental model of a 'declarative agent' to make good product decisions.
I was hoping for a module that explained what makes an agent 'declarative'. What's the alternative? What are the tradeoffs? Why this approach? Instead, I was stuck deep in VS Code, trying to run a local dev server and figuring out why my ngrok tunnel wasn't connecting to Teams. My job isn't to debug tunnels; it's to understand whether this agent architecture is the right solution for our customers' problems.
This project feels like it was written by an engineer for another engineer who was standing right behind them, nodding along. The steps are clear if you already live in this world. 'Run this command,' 'paste this JSON,' 'observe the result.' It never pauses to build intuition. For a PM, this is just noise. I couldn't connect it back to any strategic decision. It's a mechanical task, not a learning experience. I had to grab one of our devs to walk me through it, and even she said, 'This is just a very specific how-to guide.'
