Who it's for
Functional consultants needing a quick product tour of a new Copilot feature.
Who should skip it
Developers or anyone looking to build a custom sustainability-related bot.
Pros
Quick, free introduction to a niche Copilot Studio feature.
Hands-on exercise uses a pre-configured environment.
Doesn't require any actual sustainability data or setup.
Cons
Very shallow; feels more like a sales demo than a technical module.
The 'hands-on' part is just following a strict recipe.
Not useful outside of the Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability ecosystem.
Most of my time in this module was spent watching the 'Publishing...' spinner. The hands-on part is just following a recipe in a pre-baked environment. All the tables and topics are already there. My job was just to select a topic, add a condition, and publish. The whole thing took maybe 20 minutes.
It feels less like learning and more like a guided product demo for a feature inside Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability. You don't bring your own data, you don't write any logic, and you don't really understand *why* the pre-built topics work. As a free module, it's a harmless way to see what the button does. But there's zero skill transfer. It's a checkbox for a solution architect, not a skill for a builder.
