This is a configuration guide, not a course. It's a useful 20-minute read if you're a consultant about to do this exact task, but it offers zero educational value for anyone else.

Who it's for
Functional consultants or developers already inside the Dynamics/Power Platform ecosystem who need a quick checklist for enabling voice.
Who should skip it
Beginners trying to learn what a voice agent is or how to build one from scratch.
Pros
Quick, modern overview of the specific steps to enable voice in Copilot Studio.
Uses clear screenshots for each configuration step.
Points to the correct documentation for setting up extensions.
Cons
Extremely narrow scope; assumes you have a pre-existing, fully licensed setup.
Doesn't explain the 'why' behind any of the steps.
The 'knowledge check' is trivial and tests basic recall of the text just read.
That wall of prerequisites under “Set up extensions” made me realize this module wasn't for me. It assumes you already have a working bot, a Dynamics 365 Contact Center license, and an Azure subscription with ACS configured. This isn't a tutorial; it's an instruction manual for flipping a few switches inside a product I don't have access to.
I went through the rest of it anyway. It’s basically a series of annotated screenshots. 'Click here.' 'Paste this connection string.' 'Enable this toggle.' There's no explanation of what the handoff protocol actually does or why you'd choose one setting over another. It's pure procedural memory. I can't imagine retaining any of this an hour later because I never understood the underlying concepts. There's no sandbox environment, so you can't even try clicking the buttons yourself without the full paid license.
The knowledge check at the end was the final disappointment. It asked questions like 'What must be enabled to allow an agent to use voice?' The answer was, predictably, 'The voice feature.' This module feels like it was written for an internal consultant who just needed a quick refresher on the UI. It's not for students or anyone trying to learn about conversational AI from the outside.
