A quick product demo, not a real tutorial. It shows what's possible but gives you no way to practice without an expensive subscription.

The 'knowledge check' is trivial and doesn't test any real skills.
A big banner states that Copilot for Microsoft Fabric is in preview and that it only works if your admin has enabled it in the tenant settings. I don't have that. My student account doesn't have that. So from this point on, the entire 25-minute module became a slideshow of screenshots showing what I *would* see if I had a paid corporate account.
They walk you through creating reports and writing DAX queries with natural language prompts. It looks impressive. You see screenshots of the Copilot pane generating visuals and summaries. The problem is, I can't try any of it. There's no sandbox, no simulated environment, nothing. It's like reading the back of a video game box. The final knowledge check is a three-question multiple-choice quiz that basically asks if you were paying attention to the screenshots. I passed it without having touched a single line of code or a single Power BI feature.
It feels a bit deceptive to present this as a 'learning module.' It’s a marketing presentation. It's useful for maybe 10 minutes just to understand the feature's existence, but there’s no skill being taught or practiced. You're just watching someone else use the tool.
