Who it's for

Absolute beginners needing a quick map of Copilot features in Power Platform.

Who should skip it

Anyone looking for hands-on practice or technical depth.

Pros

  • Provides a fast, high-level overview of what Copilot can do in each Power Platform tool.
  • Good for mapping out what other, more specific modules to take next.
  • Content is up-to-date with recent product names.

Cons

  • No hands-on component; it's just reading text and looking at screenshots.
  • Feels more like a product page or marketing deck than a training module.
  • The knowledge checks are trivial multiple-choice questions.

My Power Automate flow was stuck running, so I killed twenty minutes clicking through this. It’s not really training. There’s no sandbox, no lab, not even a guided project. You just read text until you hit a knowledge check asking things like, “Does Copilot exist in Power Automate? Yes/No.”

It works as a directory. It tells you there's a Copilot for Power Apps, one for Power Automate, and one for Power Pages. It shows you what the button looks like. That's about it. For a topic that's all about hands-on interaction, showing static pictures feels like a total miss. I immediately went to the “Use Copilot in Power Automate” module afterward, which at least has you build something.
