A 40-minute product tour disguised as a course. It shows you where the buttons are in Copilot Studio but doesn't teach any real agentic principles. Fine for a quick look, but don't expect to learn how to build anything substantial.

Who it's for
Absolute beginners wanting a quick, guided tour of the Copilot Studio UI.
Who should skip it
Anyone trying to learn agentic design patterns or build something non-trivial.
Pros
Quick introduction to the Copilot Studio interface.
Hands-on exercise provides a feel for the workflow.
Up-to-date with the latest product naming.
Cons
Extremely shallow; more of a product demo than a lesson.
The 'autonomous' part is over-sold; it's a basic plugin-driven bot.
The knowledge check is trivial.
Pasting in a URL to a Contoso Coffee machine repair manual was the big moment in the main exercise. The rest was just clicking where the screenshots told me to. The whole thing took maybe 25 minutes. It’s a guided tour of the UI, not a real building exercise. The agent you 'build' simply calls a pre-built plugin to look up that manual. There's no thinking involved, no design decisions. The 'Test and Refine' section was equally basic.
It feels a bit dishonest to call this an 'autonomous agent' course. What I got was a very specific, step-by-step recipe for connecting one tool to one knowledge source. This is what you show a manager in a demo, not what you give to someone who actually wants to learn how to make agents. I guess it’s a decent way to see what Copilot Studio looks like without signing up for a trial yourself.
